7 Stylish Christmas Trees I Spotted On Pinterest

As we are approaching the Thanksgiving holiday I probably should be working on a menu for the special day. But I must admit, I am not a big fan of cooking. Good thing my husband is as he has been a restaurant manager for many years.

I don’t hate to admit that I love that he does most of our cooking. It’s not that I can’t cook. I mean I can read so I can cook, right? As I continue to procrastinate the upcoming menu I have been instead looking over Christmas tree ideas.  See I would much rather look at decorating ideas than cook books.

This year my tree really needs to be replaced. With some help from my teenagers last year my tree is a bit flat on one side. As they were wrestling around in the living room last year my tree was smashed by my teens and  now has several of the branches bend downward.

I probably should have just thrown it in the trash last year when I took it down. However, I am on a budget so I instead put it back in the storage building. Now I am on a mission to either try and make the old bent tree work again or maybe just replace it. Keeping in mind that I am on a budget for Christmas I am really considering putting up my old tree one more time.

This may require a bit of DIY repair work to make it through another year but I keep thinking I could find another tree next year at the after Christmas sales.

On to my journey for deciding what to do with the tree I have of course spent time going through beautiful Pinterest Christmas trees. I would like to share with you 7 stylish trees that I spotted on Pinterest. Don’t get me wrong there are lots of beautiful trees on Pinterest but here I will share the ones that caught my attention.

Traditional Christmas Tree

Traditional Christmas Trees are always my favorite! As they are a classic that is hard to beat. This is the type of tree that I grew up with and one that I typically still love to use in my own home.  via: love that shot

Color Scheme Tree

Color shemed trees can accenturate the colors in your existing decor. By either using some of the same colors or by using a contrasting color. This ribbon tree is very beautiful. The ribbon leads the eye around the tree. via: Holidappy

Santa Tree

Themed Christmas tree can be used to share hobbies or your favorite thing about the season. As well you can use chosen color schemes on them.  My husband has a few Star Trek  ornaments that he loves to use on the tree.

No matter the size of the tree, amount of ornaments, colors used, or theme of the tree remember to have fun while putting your tree together. Putting up a tree as a family is a great idea and will grow family traditions and memories. Enjoy the season and try not to stress over having the perfectly designed tree. Spend more time focusing on the reason of the season, which is Jesus's birth with your family. If you have not been to church in a while, Christmas is a great time to visit or get back in the swing of things.

XO,
